Hey everyone! Today I'm going to take you through an experiment I did the other day. I really like the fishnet design...its cute and edgy. The thing i dont really like is that the Konad image plate with the fishnet design is small. I'm talking about, my nails aren't big at all...they are rather average sized. Why did Konad make their plates for people with tiny nails. Aren't they supposed to do everything on the average sized person? Enough rambling...So I decided I would do my own fishnet with real tulle. I got some a while ago to add on to one of my dresses and I had alot left. So I cut them out in the size of my finger nails, applied silver polish and then impatiently stuck the fishnet on. I mentioned earlier that my fingers go bazurk (I dont think I spelled that right=]) in winter. So I was putting on the polish and my fingers started burning and I wanted to get cold water on them..and well lets just say from far away you cant notice it. But it was a mess...

Obviously, some of my nails look better than others. What I can tell you is that the idea is excellent, my execution was very flawed. And this is really easy...I think its a good solution for those of us who aren't in love with how small Konad images are. What were they thinkin? If your wondering, the base color is Jordana Nail Polish in Silver (how original)! What do you think of the idea? Hit or Miss? I think both. Try it out yourself, and let me know if you have better luck!

Think its berserk? now I'm not sure! This isn't that bad! Maybe you could double stamp the fish nets-half a nail at a time! You may want to get rid of the word verification on your comments-you may get more comments that way!
ReplyDeleteHa, oh well. Yeah i'll have to try half stamping. Good idea. And you mentioned the word verification thingy but I dont know how to remove it. If you know how plz let me know=]
DeleteI think it's a hit! I don't think I could try this though ... I'm definitely waaaay too impatient so a big round of applause to you :)
ReplyDeleteAww thank you so much! And if I did it with my impatient self I'm sure you could do it to. But I have to admit I think its important that you be patient or else it'll end up like mine lol. =]]
DeleteWow! this honey comb is very nice.. i will try this nail art surely.
