Barielle Blossom + Accent Nail Art

Hey guysss! Ugghh,  I hate being away from posting so long but everything has been so hectic recently and plus I was sick so theres that too! Anyway so today I want to show you Barielle Blossom. So this was kind of a let down-ish for me! Mainly because I expected it to be alot more on the peachy side but when I got it I was immediately let down. Then I tried it and now I have mixed feelings. But I'll tell you more about that later.
See this bottleshot shows you why I had falsely assumed that it would be peachier.

But on the nails it looked more like this

A very pretty color but not what was expected. Now you can see why I was let down-ish!
Barielle Blossom is a light pink cream that in certain lights leans peach. In certain lights...like in my lightbox it gives off a peachy look. I dont know if it was just my bottle but the formula on this was horrendous. I had the hardest time applying it. It was thick and bumpy. I first applied 2 layers and then begin to notice the polish was clumping towards the tips so applied a third. Then it began getting uneven so I applied another coat until finally I felt there was a little too many coats and just let it be. At the end it looked fine but not what I had come to expect from a company like Barielle. But it may just have been my bottle. And since I'm not your biggest pink fan I chose to do some small nail art on my ring finger to change it up a bit.

My First Water Marble

Hey guys! Hows it going. So I was supposed to actually post this yesterday but I got into an accident and ended up getting home pretty late that I was too tired to do anything but sleep! If your wondering nothing really happened in the accident and I ended up knowing the guy that hit me. The car was pretty scratched up from the side and needless to say my mom had a fit but all is well. Anyway, recently I've really been seeing some cute water marbling designs and had a growing desire to try it. So finally I decided to do it on an accent nail and see how it ended up. I love...love...love it. Water marbling is my new fave! Check it out.

Ok so its not the best water marbling ever done. But it was literally my first attempt and I thought it came out pretty well. As you can see though, my fingers were so dry and nasty but I was really in rush to take these pictures and leave so please forgive me.

Anyway the base color on all my fingers is Seventeen Super Shine in number 286 which is a medium pink creme. On my ring finger the base is seventeen Supreme in 09 which then is water marbled on with Seventeen Supreme in 30 (mint green), Seventeen Supreme in 279 (baby blue), and Seventeen Super Shine in 286 (pink).

I gotta say, I really dislike Seventeen polishes. Their formulas aren't great, they are always streaky if they are light colored, they get goopy with time, and take forever to dry. The only reason why I have so many polishes from it is because they always have different spunky colors that I cant easily find in Jordan. But hopefully that'll change soon! I tried to do some more water marbling on my thumb and it came out amazing! But I dont have it pictured. I will definitely do more water marbling and if you haven't gotten into this trend you Must! So thats all for today.

Pink with Bow Manicure

Hello lovelies! I hope your day is going great. Mine is filled with snow, I just finished playing in the snow and sustained a minor injury in a rather sensitive area, lol! Ooow. But still it was super duper fun. Anywho, on to the nail polish...

Pink with Bow Accent

For this mani I used AC nail polish with no label. AC is a Chinese beauty trading company that I found while I was in Dubai. I wouldn't say its a great polish but I was actually pretty impressed with it. Application could be a bit gloopy but very manageable. The brush was good, nothing too special. And the color was impeccable. I love this peachy pink color so much. I would say the most accurate picture color wise is probably the second one but there all pretty close. This polish is borderline jelly, which makes it look shiny and pretty without topcoat, although I did apply topcoat anyway because.
In a non-polish related topic I took a picture of my dog today who had so much fun in the snow and also suffered a minor leg injury (poor baby). Anyway, I thought I would share it with you...

I wonder what he was sooo interested in? Hmmm..
So, thats all I have to talk about today! Talk to you soon and meanwhile keep warm!

Pink Manicure With A Twist

Hey everybody! How's it going? I am loving the weather these past two days...Warm and Sunny! Enough winter Already! Today, I have a pink manicure with floral accents. I hope you like it!

Floral Accents

Excuse my fat fingers please, winter is no friend of mine! Every year my fingers get swolen and discolored patches come up on my hands, it's a strange phenomenon I tell ya! So overall, I really love this design. I didn't take long at all and it's fun and pretty. It looks artistic without being to time consuming. So I started with a base color of Gabrini Multivitamin in 314 and for my ring finger I used Seventeen Super Shine Nail Enamel in 529. I love this color, it's a golden metallic foil and it looks like gold on your nails, it's definitely one of my favorites. Then I drew in the flower petals and lined them with Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Color in Black out and added some lines and dots with it. I used regular clear polish on my nails except my accent nails. And Viola!
