NOTD: Girly and Glittery

Hey guys! Hows it going? So I'm feeling really good, I have a really manicure on...listening to an awesome song..."Pennies and dimes for a kiss!" Figured it out yet? Lol, I dunno I really hated this song when it first came out and know not only has it rubbed off on me, I'm singing at all randomnly awkward times of the day. I just think its so quirky and cute. Haha, anyway so my mood is pretty high. And what is this manicure that I'm so insane about. Well see for yourself.

What is this utter fabulousness I have on you ask? Well, If you must know its a lovely little color by none other than Bourjois. I think this is supposed to be from their new collection (well probably not so new but anyway) thats called the 1 Seconde Polish with Gel texture. I would like pass by the stand and just I dunno wasn't interested. But one day while at work (obviously working very hard) I was flipping through a magazine and saw this color and I was like "wait...is this a Kim-Pletely In Love!". So on my way home I stopped by and got it. Along with the color on my ring finger.

Anyway so the pink is Bourjois Nail Polish in Rose Delicat which is a light pink filled with multicolor shimmer, a-la Essie Pink-a-boo. Which I will be doing a comparison of soon. The reason why I was intrigued with this is because as you all know the formula on Pink-a-boo is more like Pink-a-poo! I mean its pretty bad. So I thought a 1-second polish should be good for all the coats you have to do with a sheer baby like this. So I got it, and I wasn't displeased. The formula was really good. It dries super quickly and because the color isn't as light as Pink-a-boo it didn't need too many coats. For me 3 coats was the perfect amount. Also, the brush on this bad boy is to die for. The best brush I've used in EVER. I mean its the perfect width and length and in one swipe my nail is covered completely, therefore no dragging or streaking or anything. And it says it has a gel texture, ok I dont think so but it does look super shiny and just overall tidy, so yeah thats great. Love Love Love it. The polishes in this collection sell for 6.75 JD (10$) at Sharmiran. I do thinks its overpriced but for the brush and my lack of drying time its worth it.

As for my ring finger its by a brand called Radiant. I've never heard of it before but they have soooo many colors I'd thought I'd give it a go even though I dont really like spending alot of money on a brand I dont know. It costs 4.75JD (7$) at Sharmiran. This color doesn't have a name its no 150. Its just a metallic gold glitter. Love it...even though I feel like its very holiday-ish I still think it works perfectly for summer colors like maybe a turqoise. Anyway so yeah thats about it.

What do you think of the Bourjois...is it worth 10$? Leave your comments down below.

Misa Lovebite + Essie Shine of the Times = Major Manicure Love

Hey girlies! Hows it been, it feels like I haven't posted in forever. But thats only because I loved my last manicure so much I rocked it up until yesterday. Thats Cray Cray right? Well anyway, so today I want to show you an experiment I tried out the other day and was absolutely ecstatic about showing you guys and then somewhere along the way I forgot about it. Anyway, First and Foremost let me just say I think the greatest addition to my polish collection has been Essie Shine of the Times. I mean it takes any old blah manicure and turns it into heaven. But only after this manicure did I realize the true glory behind this polish.

This is exactly what I wanted Barielle Elle's Spell to be like. Even when I layered it over Misa Lovebite it still didn't give me that extra oomph I was looking for. But this manicure...boy oh boy. The darkness of Lovebite nicely offsets the brightness of Shine of the Times. And no matter which direction you turn your hand the light will automatically catch the flecks and bring something extra to the table. I probably wont be wearing this in Summertime because I like to give each season its own features but I know that I'll have this on all throughout fall and winter. So if you have Elle's Spell and like me wish for more give this a try and tell me what you think. And I'll be posting up a couple more things with Essie Shine of The Times in it so stay tuned.

P.s. My Pre-100 Follower Giveaway ends tonight...so gets to entering!

Zoya Anastasia

Hey guys! Whats up? Sooo, I've been on and off with the posting and that upsets me but please bare with me. So today I have a pure beauty for you all. Get ready to feast your eyes one of my beloved Zoya babies. My few but cherished ones.

I was not kidding. Zoya Anastasia is a deep Brown with what zoya calls strong "Purple undertones, golden Plum duochrome, and heavy Gold microglitter." I couldn't agree more! Definitely a brown color, but the golden glitter is strong, and the plum douchrome is always noticeable at every angle. I got a close up shot so you can see how packed with glitter it is.

You know I'm really so pleased with the polishes I got from Zoya, so I need get a few more polishes and make my collection bigger. In the short period of time I've owned these I have been complimented so much on my choice in polishes and I know its because these are truly special polishes. These pictures here are two coats. I wouldn't call this a one-coater because you would definitely need two to just even it out. Application was relatively easy and the formula on this polish was really good. Overall, I'm sold on this.

If your interested in trying out a Zoya polish for the first time or just want to add more to your collection you can click HERE and make an account and you will automatically receive a free polish to your account. Amazing right!

Also dont forget to enter my PRE-100 Follower Giveaway because it ends soon.
Anyway, talk to you soon.

Essie Pink-a-boo and Essence Time for Romance

Hey guys! Whats up? Soo, I just got back from Work...yeah ya heard right, I have already started working even though I finished school only a week ago. Thats me! Never one to sit down. Anyway, I am having fun working with kids...its the most rewarding job. Especially working with children with special needs (I'm a speech therapist btw). But I have been trying to do my nails before I go to work so hopefully I'll be able to keep that up. Today I have Essie Pink-a-boo to show you...which is to dieeee for! and I also added Essence Time for Romance on my ring finger just to spice things up and also show you something in my giveaway.

Ukkhh, my cuticles have gone wild. Sorry I usually blur my cuticles out but I didn't because I wanted the shimmer to show up. Essie Pink-a-boo was released with the Essie Resort Collection this year and my oh my is it a stunnnner! Its a soft baby pink or cinderella pink with the most beautiful blue, pink, and purple shimmer. This really reminds me of Essie To Buy Or Not To Buy which I swatches a couple of days ago the shimmer in this really does transfer well onto the nail. I mean you can definitely see the shimmer even though its not too obvious in the photos.
Now this is definitely a sheer polish so you need about 4 coats to get to cover the nail with some still slightly visible nail line. But I like it for that it because it kinda gives it that French Manicure look without actually doing so. Also I read that this is supremely close to NOPI's Kimpletely in Love. =]

Essence Time for Romance is a beautiful rasperry jelly base with tons of berry pink shimmer and different sized glitters spread throughout it. You can totally wear it on its own at about three coats and gets to verry good coverage but in these pics I only used two coats over one coat of Essie Pink-a-boo. I like the formula on Time for Romance because although its a glitter its not clumpy or gooey or nasty its very good in terms of application and formula. Removal was kinda difficult.. you may want to try out the foil removal technique with this baby.
Anyway thats all for now. Be beautiful and dont forget to enter my giveaway!

The Most Shimmery Polish Ever: Zoya Reva

Hey you guys! I am sooo excited to show you this beautiful polish that I'm not gonna ramble as much as I usually do and just show you the pictures. I cant believe I wasnt fully convinced with this polish when I ordered it. Hello!!! I am very pleased to show you my very first Zoya swatch..

Zoya Reva : Sunlight

Zoya Reva- Sunlight

Zoya Reva- Artificial Lighting
I cant believe I haven't bought any Zoya polishes before!! Goodness gracious, its like polish perfection. And this color...I mean! Do you see how shimmery this polish is, its like an explosion of gold and red glitter and no picture I have ever seen has done it justice as to how shimmery this is. Since I've bought this polish I've sported it twice as a manicure. And its totally working with the Summer vibe I'm in at the moment. Im just sooo happy I have this. Formula was amazing! It took two easy coats to get this crazy amount of shimmer. And Zoya brushes get a 10/10 from me! Its like they were made for the size of my nail. One swipe and I've covered my whole nail. How spectacular is that!!

And continuing that note...have you guys heard about the Share The Love Program from Zoya? If you click here and make an account you automatically get a free polish! Maybe you can get Reva. You wont regret it...take it from someone who is always doubtful of red!. Now I'm a red fanatic.

Also have you entered my Pre-100 Follower Giveaway yet? If not...check it out and who knows maybe you'll win! Hooorah for FREE Polish!

Jordana Supernatural

Hey girlies! Today I will be showing you a color from Jordana Nail Polish. I dont have many colors from this brand...actually I think this is the only one, I dont know exactly. But I do like the one I have. It is more of a winter and fall kind of color but I realized I've put this color is some of my posts without ever actually showing a swatch of it bare. So here is Jordana Supernatural by itself...

Jordana Supernatural

I think Jordana has a couple more colors probably based on the Twilight Series...I think one of them is actually called Twilight or Breaking Dawn or something and its exactly this kind of polish but in red instead. This was the only one I thought was worth getting.

Jordana Supernatural is a kind of sheer dark blue base with medium blue glitter packed inside. This needs two coats to become opaque but I add a third to show off the sparkle. I know that with some polishes (like Revlon facets of fucshia) the more coats you add the more the glitter disappears, but this isn't like that. In the end I added top coat to really make it shine and as you can tell from the first photo that it really gives off a sparkly shine.

Also what I like about this polish is that although its inexpensive (1.5 JD or 3$) its application is good, the brush is good, and the formula although sheer is extremely manageable. Therefore, I definitely recommend giving this company a try. Thats all for today!

Pink Glitter Gradient

Hey guys! Hows everything? So, today I thought I would show you a really cute design that I did and it was actually a gradient manicure. I dont usually do gradient manicures but its so much fun to do with glitter and it really makes pink pop. So I started it with pink polish on all my fingers and I wanted something a little different and so I put up a lighter pink on my ring finger. It was actually the Seventeen Super Shine color I swatched a couple of days back with the water marbling. Anyway here is what I started with...

It was really cute alone but still I wanted more and so I used Color Club Magic Attraction and slightly tapped it on the middle-top of my nails. Check it out

It looks like ice cream dipped in sprinkles. I absolutely adore it...so fun and girly. And very easy to create. I know that alot of people use the sponging technique to get the whole gradient look. I only use the sponge if I'm putting in different colored polishes but when I apply like glitter or something I just apply it on regularly with my nail polish brush but after I've removed alot of it. Then I repeat it again at my tips so that I get a little more glitter towards the top. And thats all!
If your interested in the Zoya Share the Love Program (which is amazing) you can click Share the Love and read about it. Also if you click through here and make an account you automatically receive a FREE polish. Not too bad right? Have a great day!

Color Club Magic Attraction

Hey guys! Hows it going? So today I want to show you THE MOST amazing glitter polish I have in my entire collection. Well I mean I have alot of other really cool glitters but this one is immensely glittery and holographic all in one. How cool is that? Magic Attraction has been out for a long time and I found it in my go to beauty store a couple months back and I thought I didn't really need it cuz I had so many glitters. But then one day I saw it on Scrangie's blog and I knew I just had to get it. So I go back to the store...and just my luck I couldn't find it again. So I searched and searched and finally I found it in the most random of stores...lol. So here it is!

Magic Attraction is a heavily packed glitter nail polish in a clear base. It applies very evenly although not so smoothly. But you can see how shiny it is in the pictures...I didn't use topcoat in any of these even though I know that topcoat will definitely even out the texture. You can see how holographic this polish is in the blurrier pictures. In real life it is soooo captivating like I just catch my nails in the mirror and keep staring at it...Its awesome.
And I know I keep repeating this, but its because I think its an awesome offer to share. Zoya is offering a FREE nail polish if you click HERE and make an account.
So thats all for today.

Layered Sparkly Polish

Hey everyone! Hows your day going? Today I want to show you a little bit of layering I did that I really enjoyed. I started out with a Seventeen Super Shine Polish in number 500. I bought this such a long time ago I dont even remember. I tried it out once, didn't like it, thought I would give it to one of my little cousins, decided I wanted to give it another try (maybe it had potential), threw it in a box and never got back to it. Until now of course. I realized if I didn't like it on its own I would use Femme Fatale over it and see what happens. I wasn't really into it while it was alone on my nails cuz although its filled with sparkle it is so flat. Not a very interesting color.
Seventeen Super Shine #500
Then I applied Color Club in Femme Fatale to give it some extra sparkle and shine!

As you can see it totally shifted to another level. And I love that the sparkle isn't one constant color in all angles. You can see copper shimmer, pink shimmer, and even blue shimmer in some angles which really gives it depth. I guess the morale of the story is if you ever have a dull or boring color you can always make it more interesting by adding a layer of sparkle on it. Femme Fatale is a color I'm super happy I bought!

Holographic French Nail Design

Hey everyone! I hope everyone is having a fun and relaxing weekend. I've been quite busy recently and a persistent migraine has really been keeping me away from posting. Hopefully, that will all get better soon. Anyway, for the nails I've been really into the french nail design mostly because its been boiling hot here the last couple of days and french nails are clean and fresh. Check it out.

Holographic French Nail Design

I know that it doesn't seem very holo-y but believe me it was so holographic its insane. I actually didn't expect it to be so much so. A delightful surprise! I used Flormar Nail Enamel in 397 as my base. Its a very natural pink French nail color. Definitely a new fave. Then I did the v-shaped design with Color Club Fashion Addict. And finally I added the silver stripes with La Girl Art Deco Nail Art Lacquer in Silver Glitter and added some topcoat. Great design and totally loving it. Have a great weekend!

Lavender and Polka dots

Color Club Fashion Addict and Magic Attraction Gradient

Hello everyone! How are you doing today? I feel like I should share with you whats been going on recently. I haven't been in a very good mood recently for many reasons...and so I haven't really been thinking about nail polish and designs. To top it all off the weather has been crap for the past two days. Raining and just nastiness all together. So I decided I would try to make a lightbox so I wouldn't be tied that much to the weather. Needless to say it really didn't come out the way I wanted it to. It was super hard to do and after two boxes I realized what I did would have to suffice. I put it in the brighest room in my house (which was the guest bathroom) and decided I would give it a go. It actually was pretty good. Joy of Joys! Then I pressed something on my camera and the lights went wack. WHY? Now I cant get my camera out of that mode. So I'm pretty pissed off at it right now but still I took some pictures of the mani I did and thats what I'm gonna share with you today.

Color Club Fashion Addict and Magic Attraction Gradient

Awful! But the manicure was gorgeous. Obviously Fashion Addict is more lavender than gray. But you get the idea. Btw, this is part of my design for rebecca's contest which I'll post up tomorrow maybe. I'm really upset with my camera and I dont know what to do. Oh well. Anyway, thats all for today!

Color Club Red Velvet

Hello dearies! Today I will be showing you a wonderful new color that I brought very recently. I walked into a store that I sometimes buy nail polish from expecting that I wouldn't find anything. And to my surprise I found that they had pretty much all the previous collections from coloc club. How awesome was that? Very! Color Club has slowly but surely risen from the very bottom of my list all the way to the top of it and my heart. If your new to this brand...friend it! Because it is amazing and wont let you down. I also got Wild at Heart and Magic Attraction (finally!). I will be going back to get me some more like alias and red-ical gypsy. This is Red Velvet.

Color Club Red Velvet

Red Velvet is a beautiful red shimmer polish in a black base. How totally vampy is that? If your into the whole vampire/dark and sultry look this is definitely a polish for you. This is two coats although you'd be fine with only one. I leave you with a question. Should I start posting about my polish hauls? I usually just buy stuff and swatch it w/o showing the actual haul. I dunno. Let me know what your feeling.

Color Club Femme Fatale

Hello everybody! How are you doing today? Today's mani is fun and edgy and pretty all in one. I used to see Femme Fatale all the time and I was never really interested in it. But like two weeks ago I was in the store and I thought I'd try it over the polish I had on and see if it was nice or not. Love at first try! I wasn't the only one who fell in love with it. My mom immediately made me do her nails with it when she saw it. Here I have it over a black creme polish.

Color Club Femme Fatale

How lovely is that!? Femme Fatale is a sheer milky base with tons of millions of pink shimmery sparkles. I think its sort of like CND's effects polishes. Although this consists of pink shimmer on the black it looks gold and pink together at the same time. Also the base doesn't look black, it actually looks purple because of the the Femme Fatale. How totally awesome is that? Or am I the only one going Insane over this?? Haha, oh well!
