I thought it would be nice to bring up all the really cool nail art that I personally enjoyed and was received well from my viewers also. Alot of nail art didn't make the cut but I really did enjoy these. So if your more interested in the how-to's and the products I used click on the links and it will take you there. Happy New Year!

Christmas Nails

Happy Holidays! Its been a while. Life can really occupy our time and I havent been as available for my blog as before...so I had to take a break. An extremely long one I know. But Im back and I have Christmas nails to share with you, I got the inspiration for this from a post on the Zoya blog.

In the spirit of the holidays I just couldn't resist using the ever so famous and loved China Glaze Ruby Pumps. The sparkliest and shiniest red glitter polish. Its an amazing color although it has photgraphed a tad bit brighter than in reality. In real life this color is soo stunning that Im constantly looking at and moving it in the light to see the glitter shine. I love it alone and with other designs, and its perfect for the winter! A definite must-have.

The tree on my ring finger was made using:
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear White On
Zoya Envy
China Glaze Ruby Pumps
Jordana Supernatural
and Radiant no 150

So What do you think...is this look Holiday worthy? If youve done any holiday themed nail art please leave a link in the comments so I can check them out. I would love to see what you guys are rocking this Christmas day!

Nail Art...Hit or Miss!?

Hey guys! Hows it going? Today I want to show you some nail art I did quite a while ago but Im not really sure whether its a hit or not. My sis seems to think its really cool but I'm not totally into it. Individually I like the designs on each nail...I dunno, you tell me.

Strange, huh? Well let me break it down. I did a slanted cheetah print on my thumb with the base of Color Club Incognito and dotted the cheetah with OPI Senorita Rose-alita. For my index I used a base of Color Club Oh Naturale and Did the rose with Essie No More Film. My middle finger is done the same as my thumb but with a full print. My index finger is Orly Ingenue. My pinky finger is the same base as my index but the rose is made with Essie Olie Caliente. The leaves design are with .Sally Hansen Green with Envy.

So, Hit or Miss?

Barielle Blossom + Accent Nail Art

Hey guysss! Ugghh,  I hate being away from posting so long but everything has been so hectic recently and plus I was sick so theres that too! Anyway so today I want to show you Barielle Blossom. So this was kind of a let down-ish for me! Mainly because I expected it to be alot more on the peachy side but when I got it I was immediately let down. Then I tried it and now I have mixed feelings. But I'll tell you more about that later.
See this bottleshot shows you why I had falsely assumed that it would be peachier.

But on the nails it looked more like this

A very pretty color but not what was expected. Now you can see why I was let down-ish!
Barielle Blossom is a light pink cream that in certain lights leans peach. In certain lights...like in my lightbox it gives off a peachy look. I dont know if it was just my bottle but the formula on this was horrendous. I had the hardest time applying it. It was thick and bumpy. I first applied 2 layers and then begin to notice the polish was clumping towards the tips so applied a third. Then it began getting uneven so I applied another coat until finally I felt there was a little too many coats and just let it be. At the end it looked fine but not what I had come to expect from a company like Barielle. But it may just have been my bottle. And since I'm not your biggest pink fan I chose to do some small nail art on my ring finger to change it up a bit.

Some Polka Dot Lovin On My Nails!

Hey girlies...hows it going? Today's gonna be a short post, I've been getting really busy with summer activities and work so I'm going to show you real quick some nail art I did.

For this design I used Essie No More Film, Essie Ole Caliente, Flormar 424, Inglot 721, Barielle Blossom, and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Green With Envy (In order from Navy Blue at top of nail to Green at bottom corner). For the base I used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in White On. Obviously this design is super easy to do, it just requires some patience. Great for summer wear. Anyway, thats all for now.

Chic French Nail Design

Hey everybody! Hows it going? Today was MY LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!! Forever! Woot...woot! Hahah, words cant explain how happy I am. But your not here to hear about my life, so for nails...I want to show you a sort of color blocking french nail design that I did a few days back. I found this to be soo cute and it really reminds me of strawberry shortcake! Take a look!

This design is suppper easy to replicate, and I'm not just saying that. I first started with a layer of just a clear pink tinted base. Then I applied Sally Hansen in Green with envy diagonally across from the middle of my nail to the opposite end. Then I applied Barielle Blossom in the opposite direction and overlapping Green with Envy. Finally I took Inglot 721 and went the same direction as the green I applied previously. After applying all that and waiting for them to dry a bit, I took L.A. Girl Art Deco Nail Art Lacquer in Silver glitter and lined the previous color strips with it. And finally a layer of topcoat.
Is this design easy to do? Definitely! Do try this for summer...its on trend and fun.
Thats all for today. Dont forget to enter my PRE-100 FOLLOWER GIVEAWAY!

French Tip Hearts

Hey everyone! Hows it going? I feel like drawing hearts on everything today so  I drew them on the tips of my nails. Mind you, my lining isn't all too good...I dont know why but I couldn't keep my hand still. But it still fine to me.

As you can see there are area where I lined over again and thats why it looks kind of clumpy but it really isn't noticeable in real life. For the base I used Color Club Incognito (love, love, love!) and then I use OPI Senorita Rose-alita to make the heart. Then I used black polish to create the lining around the heart. And thats it.

Vintage Rose Nail Art

Hey everybody! I want to apologize for my slight absence, I've just been really busy with school and stuff. Anywho, today I have a stamping design to show you that I did a couple of days ago but only just got around to show you. I dont want to talk alot so heres the pics.
Vintage Rose Nail Art

The base is Seventeen Super Shine in number 268 and then I stamped the rose design on it with a foil color from La Girls. I lost the name on the it so I dont know what its called. Its a lavender foil/metallic color that is amazing for stamping. Anyway, I really enjoyed this manicure and I hope you do too.

Matte Black with subtle flower design

Hey! Hows it goin? Today I'm gonna show you a matte black polish by La Girl. I really really like this polish because its finish is so rubbery. Its a great alternative to just regular black. It even seems like a jelly matte black to me. I like it alot on my fingers and I dont think I will ever just go with regular black polish ever again. So thats great I guess.

Matte black with flower

Application for this polish was delightful. It looks really good when its on. Like any matte polish it dries lightning fast. I did the flower design with regular black polish and it creates a nice subtle effect. La Girl Matte Black is a great alternative if u want a good and reliable matte polish for a great price. Yup...All round very satisfied! Have a great day.

Minty Green Bows

Hello all! I think you may have noticed that I have a thing for bows. Yes...Yes I do. So whenever I want to fun up my manicure I tend to choose bows. And today being no different, my manicure includes bows. If you think my nails are slightly different lengths in my different posts, the truth is that they are. But thats because some of my pictures are of my right hand and some are of my left. In real life you cant tell that may nails are different lengths but in pictures (and super close) its obvious. So thats why.

Minty Green Bows

The reason I only have three nails showing in these pictures is because I ruined my index while taking pictures so I decided I just wouldn't show it lol. This is Seventeen Supreme Shine in # 30. Its a real creamy pastel light green color that screams spring time. I love colors like this because theyre expressive. The problem I have personally with Seventeen pastel colors is that they tend to blumpy. I dont a mix of blotchy and bumpy I guess. If you put too little layers its streaky and ugly, and if you put too many layers its looks like hills that collide to create a whole new world on your nail..also ugly. Sometimes 2 coats is enough for some of the polishes and sometimes you need three. Its very confusing. But still the colors are wonderful. I drew in the bows with a thin brush. And viola!

Spring Striped Nail Art

Hello...hello! I want to show you a design I did for a nail art contest hosted by enamel girl. Fun! I did this with my konad stamping plates and it came out super awesome. Except for a little mishap on my middle finger which I hope isn't too obvious cuz that would suck lol.

Spring Striped Nail Art

I really had fun with this manicure and I tried out a color combo I would never do had it not been for this contest so I'm really happy about that.
What do you think?

Oriental Flower Nail Art

Hey everyone! Hows it going? Summer...Summer...Summer. I'm ready to swim and have fun, how bout you? Had enough of winter yet? So in the mood of summer I busted out my turqoise polish and thought I'd do something fun with it. In the end it kinda felt oriental looking to me. Probably only to me hehe!

Oriental Flower Nail Art

I used Flormar Nail Enamel in 424 as my base color. Then I used Seventeen Super Shine in 529 to dot the design in. And I used white polish for the center of my flowers. I love this turqoise color...it's so much fun! If I were to recreate this look though, I would probably use a gold color to dot with first and then re-dot it with the Seventeen one that I have on in the pics. The reason is because this Seventeen color although it is a metallic color doesn't really show that well. As you can see in my pictures its not a very strong color to use for detail. But who cares...I love it anyway! Have a great Friday.

Tropical Flower Nails

Hello all! So I might be a little later than all the rest in finding this out...but More Nail Polish is having a nail art contest. The idea is that your design should be inspired by something. So immediately I thought of my Konad Stamping box. It has the cutest tropical flower design on it and I've wanted to do it for a while. So I did. Fun!

Tropical Flower Nails

So what do you think? Contest worthy? Ehh, doesn't matter... I enjoy entering contest because they challenge you to do something you might not do normally. So win win either way right! Anyway, goodluck to all that entered!
