Rosey Nude Polish

Hey guys! Whats up? Today I have on a really cute polish that actually I've had for a long time and I only just got around to trying it today. I'm super glad I tried it, its really subtle but it packs a punch (like only a great nude can do).

Rosey nude polish

This is Isabelle Dupont in number 219. Obviously, this wouldn't be a nude on someone with lighter skin tone. On me it creates a barely there effect. I would describe this as a putty rose color. Its very earthy and cool toned. Very suitable for this weird weather we've been having as we move from winter to spring. I have to say Isabelle Dupont doesn't disappoint. For the mere 1 JD I spend buying it I tend to expect alot cheaper quality but instead you get a very creamy and rich color. So thats always a plus. Anyways, thats all for now.

Matte Black with subtle flower design

Hey! Hows it goin? Today I'm gonna show you a matte black polish by La Girl. I really really like this polish because its finish is so rubbery. Its a great alternative to just regular black. It even seems like a jelly matte black to me. I like it alot on my fingers and I dont think I will ever just go with regular black polish ever again. So thats great I guess.

Matte black with flower

Application for this polish was delightful. It looks really good when its on. Like any matte polish it dries lightning fast. I did the flower design with regular black polish and it creates a nice subtle effect. La Girl Matte Black is a great alternative if u want a good and reliable matte polish for a great price. Yup...All round very satisfied! Have a great day.

Minty Green Bows

Hello all! I think you may have noticed that I have a thing for bows. Yes...Yes I do. So whenever I want to fun up my manicure I tend to choose bows. And today being no different, my manicure includes bows. If you think my nails are slightly different lengths in my different posts, the truth is that they are. But thats because some of my pictures are of my right hand and some are of my left. In real life you cant tell that may nails are different lengths but in pictures (and super close) its obvious. So thats why.

Minty Green Bows

The reason I only have three nails showing in these pictures is because I ruined my index while taking pictures so I decided I just wouldn't show it lol. This is Seventeen Supreme Shine in # 30. Its a real creamy pastel light green color that screams spring time. I love colors like this because theyre expressive. The problem I have personally with Seventeen pastel colors is that they tend to blumpy. I dont a mix of blotchy and bumpy I guess. If you put too little layers its streaky and ugly, and if you put too many layers its looks like hills that collide to create a whole new world on your nail..also ugly. Sometimes 2 coats is enough for some of the polishes and sometimes you need three. Its very confusing. But still the colors are wonderful. I drew in the bows with a thin brush. And viola!

Lavender and Polka dots

Please excuse my extra dry cuticles, but I had a million errands to run and I wanted my nails to look cute so i skipped on the care routine. Also my pictures aren't the clearest as I took this pretty late in the day. Anyway isn't this the funnest manicure ever? Gotta love it!

Color Club Hold 'em

Hey everybody! Today I am going to show you Color Club Hold 'em. I saw this color a few days back and I realized I've probably never seen it around on the web. I really liked the color and so I decided to get it. I'm really glad I did as I dont really have anything exactly like it. I dont know which collection this is from and I dont think its an easy color to find but that makes it all the more unique when you do find it. Doesn't it, lol? Anyway so here are some swatches of it...

Color Club Hold 'em

Hold 'em is a medium pink loaded with silver microshimmer. The shimmer is silver but in the light it gives off a blue tint. The first and last picture are of the color in shade and the middle are in the sun. In the shade it looks very muted but still not your usual bright and poppy pink or your barbie pink. This is funner. The other thing I noticed about this was that its application was tricky. Not impossible but you have to be careful. I wasn't very careful on my index and so it looks kinda messy. I'm still not very sure if its a me color. It really makes my skin look tan, not tanner than normal just makes its kinda dark looking. Plus I'm not the biggest friend of pink so I dunno. I am glad I got it though cuz I would wear this color. I think my kinda color is Zoya Rori which still hasn't been released yet. Its more of a pinkish purple and I really really really want it. Anyway, until next time.

KKCenterHK Water Decal Review

Hello all! How are you doing today? Alright, today I will be sharing my first product review...well technically it isn't exactly my review. Because I live in Jordan and customs are a pain, someone very dear to me was kind enough to do this review for me. Thank you so much CariAnne! Your amazing! For those of you who dont know, KKCenterHK is an online beauty supply store where you can find everything from fake nails to wigs and false eyelashes. And their prices are very reasonable as well, if you'd like to visit their site click here . So this review will be about some hello kitty gold water decals. This is N.Nail Hello Kitty Water Decals Nail Art Metallic Gold-WDHHC062

Hello Kitty Water Decals

The idea of water decals is really cool. They look smoother and more natural than regular plain old nail stickers. They kinda appear as a part of the nail polish you have on which is smart. And their application isn't difficult. Its actually super easy you just need to position them right before you stick them on your nails, because then moving it around becomes difficult.
You fill a bowl with warm water and cut out the different decals you want and place them in the bowl for only a coupe of seconds. Then you take it out and remove the transparent underside (with a tweezer or your finger) and then apply on your nail. And your done. Pretty cool, right. I had no idea about water decals before this, but now that I see this, it's going to become part of my manicure musts. I love the gold hello kitty but you can find a million other styles on their website. As always...

Gradient Zebra Nails

Hey everyone! Today I will be showng you my entry for rebecca's contest from rebeccalikesnails. It has a fun theme and so I decided to just go with it and do something fun. I chose a holographic base (Color Club Fashion Addict) then I did some sponging on the tips with Color Club Magic Attraction. And finally I stamped on it with Color Club Wild at Heart. Notice I used all Color club and all pretty much holographic polishes. I did this because I am in love with the holo on holo effect. But be warned my pictures dont show the holographic-ness. Actually it really didn't come up in real life either sooo.. I dunno! But still it came out amazing...If I do say so myself!

Gradient Zebra Mani

Awesome, right? Hahaha...it was alot of fun to do and I love how stamping is so easy and saves time on doing your nails. Can I get a thumbs up for stamping! Wish me Luck.

Spring Striped Nail Art

Hello...hello! I want to show you a design I did for a nail art contest hosted by enamel girl. Fun! I did this with my konad stamping plates and it came out super awesome. Except for a little mishap on my middle finger which I hope isn't too obvious cuz that would suck lol.

Spring Striped Nail Art

I really had fun with this manicure and I tried out a color combo I would never do had it not been for this contest so I'm really happy about that.
What do you think?

Color Club Fashion Addict and Magic Attraction Gradient

Hello everyone! How are you doing today? I feel like I should share with you whats been going on recently. I haven't been in a very good mood recently for many reasons...and so I haven't really been thinking about nail polish and designs. To top it all off the weather has been crap for the past two days. Raining and just nastiness all together. So I decided I would try to make a lightbox so I wouldn't be tied that much to the weather. Needless to say it really didn't come out the way I wanted it to. It was super hard to do and after two boxes I realized what I did would have to suffice. I put it in the brighest room in my house (which was the guest bathroom) and decided I would give it a go. It actually was pretty good. Joy of Joys! Then I pressed something on my camera and the lights went wack. WHY? Now I cant get my camera out of that mode. So I'm pretty pissed off at it right now but still I took some pictures of the mani I did and thats what I'm gonna share with you today.

Color Club Fashion Addict and Magic Attraction Gradient

Awful! But the manicure was gorgeous. Obviously Fashion Addict is more lavender than gray. But you get the idea. Btw, this is part of my design for rebecca's contest which I'll post up tomorrow maybe. I'm really upset with my camera and I dont know what to do. Oh well. Anyway, thats all for today!

Color Club Red Velvet

Hello dearies! Today I will be showing you a wonderful new color that I brought very recently. I walked into a store that I sometimes buy nail polish from expecting that I wouldn't find anything. And to my surprise I found that they had pretty much all the previous collections from coloc club. How awesome was that? Very! Color Club has slowly but surely risen from the very bottom of my list all the way to the top of it and my heart. If your new to this brand...friend it! Because it is amazing and wont let you down. I also got Wild at Heart and Magic Attraction (finally!). I will be going back to get me some more like alias and red-ical gypsy. This is Red Velvet.

Color Club Red Velvet

Red Velvet is a beautiful red shimmer polish in a black base. How totally vampy is that? If your into the whole vampire/dark and sultry look this is definitely a polish for you. This is two coats although you'd be fine with only one. I leave you with a question. Should I start posting about my polish hauls? I usually just buy stuff and swatch it w/o showing the actual haul. I dunno. Let me know what your feeling.

Color Club Femme Fatale

Hello everybody! How are you doing today? Today's mani is fun and edgy and pretty all in one. I used to see Femme Fatale all the time and I was never really interested in it. But like two weeks ago I was in the store and I thought I'd try it over the polish I had on and see if it was nice or not. Love at first try! I wasn't the only one who fell in love with it. My mom immediately made me do her nails with it when she saw it. Here I have it over a black creme polish.

Color Club Femme Fatale

How lovely is that!? Femme Fatale is a sheer milky base with tons of millions of pink shimmery sparkles. I think its sort of like CND's effects polishes. Although this consists of pink shimmer on the black it looks gold and pink together at the same time. Also the base doesn't look black, it actually looks purple because of the the Femme Fatale. How totally awesome is that? Or am I the only one going Insane over this?? Haha, oh well!

My First Franken

Hello everyone! So I'm really excited to present to you my first attempt at a franken. I know that alot of bloggers really love doing this and enjoy it more than regular polishes. Honestly, I would rather just buy a really cool bottle of polish. Unfortunately the only bottle of polish that I cant seem to get my hands on is a an amazing red color. It's like its impossible to find one ready made. So I decided to make my own. My initial goal was something like BeYu Shiraz...well it didn't come out like that. But I like to think I got pretty darn close. So take a look!

Franken

For this I mixed Elegant Gabrini in 331 (glittery red) and Jordana Nail Polish in Supernatural (glittery blue) and Seventeen Super Shine in 529 (glittery gold). I swatched the Seventeen polish and posted it yesterday. I know that it doesn't seem too glittery in the pics but it is out of this world glittery. I tried to get it to show up in the pictures but my camera is so so. Anyway, my search for the perfect red hasn't ended. But as I wont be getting my hands on BeYu anytime soon this will have to do. Good day!

Metallic Gold Nails

Hey! This is gonna be a short post cuz I really gotta study for my exam tomorrow. So today I have a really really pretty polish on. I cant express to you how much I adore this color. Me and gold are best friends afterall. See for yourself.

Metallic Gold Nails

This Seventeen Super Shine in 529. This color is so festive and shiny. It calls for attention all by itself. I cant tell you how awesome this color looks. This is a color that I can rely on when I want my nails to make a
statement without having to do an actual design. What do you think? Is it all in my head?
